I am currently working in Singapore and in a dilemma whether to resign from the job or not. In case I do resign, they might take long long time, putting me in a remedical queue like RK Sandhu and for all that time I need to stay in India doing nothing. If I do not resign, then in a slightest chance that they tell me to travel quickly, will be gone as I wont be able to travel quickly as I ll have to serve a 1 month Notice...So difficult to decide this

I'd suggest resigning the day your application goes in process and start serving your notice. 1 month is not bad mine's 2 months notice
Keep an eye on the dates being processed and align your actions. If things go well, bargain on your notice period with your company!
The only catch is medicals expiring. Nonetheless, keep your spirits high and hope for the best. Good Luck!

I was also thinking to resigning once it becomes IP...Hope it does soon...But the only issue I face is watching RK Sandhu (in 2013 grp) struck in long long IP queue...I hate CIC for not having a proper process for remedical cases.. The system should auto send a notification email for remedicals 1 months before the expiry, so that they can furnish remedicals before IP...No point in making applicants wait till till IP and then telling them to wait again till the time they receive remedical results and start processing again...
