Hi I m tejvir i m in canada on my wrk permit. my gf is canadian and we r geting married soon.

but my gf is has a hearing of theft under 5000 act in court... can she sponsor me if she is charged

This is a criminal code offence. Immigration Canada will suspend your sponsorship case until a decision has been made on your partners criminal case. This is an indictable offence:

334. Except where otherwise provided by law, every one who commits theft
(a) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, where the property stolen is a testamentary instrument or the value of what is stolen exceeds five thousand dollars; or
(b) is guilty
(i) of an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or
(ii) of an offence punishable on summary conviction, where the value of what is stolen does not exceed five thousand dollars.

I would wait until the criminal case proceedings have ended prior to applying. She will not be approved as sponsor unless the charges are withdrawn, dismissed. Lets hope the case is dismissed.

these numbers are way more smaller than the monthly average for Q1

Average number of files in spousal category received by NDVO ( Q1;2007-2013) is 411 approx.
January 2014 files received = 303
February 2014 files received = 233
Expectedly

min average = 332 (Rdd)
Max average = 469
Average of Monthly Average 412 (Rdd)

Looking at 2013 applications in this spreadsheet shows that over 70% cases have been completed with 83% acceptance rate.

How did you get 2014 Jan. & Feb. file received exact number : January 2014 files received = 303 & February 2014 files received = 233 ?

What about March 2014 files received ?
