Folks help me.
I am March 2014 applicant in New Delhi.
My husband had interview, 27 November 2015.
We hear nothing since then from IRCC. The officer has approved our application. Any idea from seniors friends.
How long takes background check.

have u been in gov positions already? like worked b4? means it will take quite a long time for background chk, I read somewhere. if not, plz order ur notes and contact mp. 2 years already!

The notes have said eligibility passed and the criminality and background in progress. What I wonder about is how long it takes the background check? What a misery! People lined up for fkng interviews and others who has got everything being worked on and still can't stop whining!!

Impatient people who keeps on making fkng MP inquiries makes it harder for other people who are awaiting interviews.

NDVO doesn't want to reply interview people who certainly have some issues why the heck they bother every fkg inquiries for whom they are still working?

Learn some patience!


And stop advising me people I Dnt fkg care about my ratings or my comments. I Dnt have time to read the forum every single day. So Dnt waste your time for myself.

Just keep praying.

your angers justified but unfortunately directed towards the wrong direction. Use it to pressure the ones at fault, not the concerned applicants or spouses. Everyone is stressed. no ones trying to have fun doing the inquiries. Their frustration is equally justified when it takes god D*mn 17 months and longer to get your spouse over.

Anyone know how long does it take to receive passport back with visa.. Submitted passport on monday.. Haven't received it back yet and tracking id just show in processing...

Why NDVO delaying August 2014 interview recommended applicants for scheduling interview dates??! What happened to NDVO? I'm 26 November 2014 applicant waiting for Interview date, (no red flag). It's been taking 20-22 months for interview candidates to get spouse PR.

My wife got a call from NDVO.
Basically they explained that my case had been held up due to remedical request.
My wife did medical for the 3rd time yesterday.
They said that as soon as they receive the remedical in their system it will be finalized and visa will be issued.
Super happy.
Liberal govt has picked up the speed in processing.
They currently trying to clear one without interview. If they keep up this speed they will be able to clear all the 2014 interview file in 2-3 months.
so be optimisitc.

Finally got my passport back with stamped visa today I submit my passport on 8 March 2016 at vfs Chandigarh and got today I m very happy long wait is over now feeling relaxed

Hi congratulations...Did you receive it in mail or you picked it up? Because my husband submitted his passport on 7th march to VFS chandigarh but havent received it yet.. Our tracking id shows its still in processing at newdelhi visa office..

don't do.. not advisable! if u r lined up for interview, and after receiving confirmed interview date, do medicals.
