Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and looking for some advice.
My wife is a Feb 4, 2015 applicant and she received re-medical request on 15 Dec, 2015. The email asked to do standard chest x-ray tests. Since my wife is in Canada on TRV, we booked an appointment with a doctor in Toronto. But the doctor refused to do just chest x-ray and we ended up doing full medical again. Also he refused to send results via email to "delhi.mcreassessment@international.gc.ca" and will use e-medical system to upload the results instead.
Anybody in a similar situation before and what do u think is the best way to go about it?
Thanks.
Most of the doctors don't know the exact process, we went through one in Kitchener (very nice and he only does immigration medicals, so has knowledge about these complicated scenarios).
I got PPR today, so yes they are right that they cannot send medical information via emails so mine doctor send the X-ray and the small evaluation form via post to Ottawa and they have means to forward this information to Delhi in secure manner.
Now that you did full medicals, send it via case specific Inquiry to new delhi, I would also mail them physical copy (ask someone in India to send on your behalf). And I don't see any harm in sending same to given email address for remedical.
After doing all that, go for MP inquiry after 7-10 days and make sure they received your medical.
