Hi guys.
i need some serious help here from some experienced folks. Cic sent request to my hubby but they asked for a copy of passport scanned copy not the actual passport. Has any one seen this before? Are they issuing visa on the copy or what? Pls pls pls help me out

Hello Guys,
Thank you everyone in this forum for helping me through this process!. It was wonderful sharing my experience and helping others.

1) My wife got her visa this morning through Blue-dart. They contacted my wife and she just has to go to their pick up location with a receipt and done.

2) She got her Shiny shiny... 8) 10 months visa( within that time period she can come to Canada. )

3) After passport request , getting visa time takes like 5 days process. Smooth and nice process. (VFS makes it lot easier and their courier partner is Blue-Dart).


Good luck those who are waiting for PPR request. Special thanks to Draxz1289, Preetiv, Fiza, amop for helping in this process.

Being patient was a key for me took almost 14 months so don't stress out , hang in there fellows.

Gotta end with a little teaseeee.....My E-cas still shows " In-Process". Amen to that.

No its still valid for another 3 years but i do have travelled to canada before. It still doesnt ecplain why they want the scanned copy of the only front page that has biodata on it and last page thats it. Nothing else. I dont know whether he made a mistake cauz they do ask for copies for only visa exempt countries.

It says send the copy of your passport with only front page with the biodata and the last page. You can also send a scanned copy too.

Did you submit copy of your passport with the file? ....well any ways i guess just subit the scan copy of the passport . just strange.

I got Medical re-Assessment before that Resquest for PCC.Which we have sent already on Last Tuesday.Still waiting.Do you have any update from your side....

PCC of saudi Arabia.without that letter we will not get saudi PCC.
