Hi all, we received some good news today. I got a call from NDVO today asking to submit my passport ASAP. The guy said that I got my visa and have to travel as soon as possible. Finally!!!

Please help me guys.... I am in a really difficult situation...... Our application status chamged to DM last week wednesday and we haven't heard back from NDVO yet. When I asked people it seems unusual for PPR taking such a long time. I even send a case specific enquiry and send an e mail to NDVO regarding our case..... No response at all. And moreover I approch my MP office in Alberta they give a negetive response for doing an MP enquiry. Our Medical will expire on Augest 22 and my wife is 6 months pregnant and she is on her visitor visa with me in Canada. Please give me your valuable suggestions. Somebody said that if our file goes to DM the expiry of Medicals dosent matter, since she is in Canada..... Some others says no it does matters.......? What should I do at this point of time. Or if somebody could share their MPs contact details if they are helpful......? Please help me........

hi a big congratulations to u . have ur med get expired? What was or file status before that call. M also October 3rd applicant my med is valid up to 21 Aug. Only. 2 days ago my status suddenly change to in process. Pls share what is ur timeline. M very excited.

my medical was till 8th sept. but they have extended it till 1st oct. and i didnt went to in-process or anything. directly got call frm ndvo abt visa. all the best all of you ....you will also hear the same soon....

hi congrts again . how did u come to know that they have extended ur med. Have u applied any notes or did any enquiry pls share coz m in the same situation

Dnt worry may be they have extended ir medical and as she is already in canada i dont think there is a problem

I emailed 4 weeks back and wrote that my 16 months going 2 complete in coming 2 weeks, and still no passport req. so please issue the same at the earliest coz by the time I will get my passport back it will be over 16 months...
after sending the mail it showed they take 28 days to reply but that too completed 2 days bck so was thinking whether to send them mail again or not...

now after reading ur above msg I tght y not send them a fresh mail today...so with least expectations I first logged into my ecas and to my surprise my status today changed to Decision Made now hope to get ppr soon...

bro I think u shud just wait and watch coz ur wife is with u in Canada...and moreover if she is 6 months preg, I dnt think even if ur medical expires u can get her re-medi xray done so just don't worry about visa for now n tell ur wifey not to stress about it(not good 4 her)...till when is ur wife's 6 months trv entry valid until? if she gives delivery by then u can easily get an extension of her trv entry....I don't think u can do too mch at this moment apart from wait for ppr from ndvo...do reply wt u think?

thanks guys...but I seriously hope it doesn't get any longer and they send ppr max in next week and wish all other who r struck since 1.5yrs in this waiting game...to get their ppr's soon..
