DHAN NIRANKAR JI After 20 long months I checked my ecas and it's Decision Made ;D So happy for this day to finally come and for this wait to be over. Please everyone if I can give you one advice it is to never lose hope and your faith this is what will keep you going and make the whole journey less painful. I know it's hard the everlasting anticipation of when visa will come but it surely will happen. Also, try not to compare your timeline to others as that can be depessing most people get theirs in 10 months and it took my husband double that time but it did happen. Trust in God his time line is meant for a reason and just accept and stay positive.

I want to thank the forum members who have provided such good advice and answered questions and been overall support when patience was low. Thank you to Innosense buddy for providing the case review email yaar I believe that helped. My husband and I sent them email on June 19 got a standard response on 23rd that they are still reviewing and will contact us and today DM. So I'm sure they must have put priority on the file or it was a coincidence but regardless glad we sent it ! For all those remaining keep getting notes and inquiring from mp if past 16 months and above all stay in control of your attitude because that's what will get you through this wait and this wait will too pass

Best of luck to remaining 2013 members I pray you all get soon as been waiting too long and for 2014 members to keep the faith

Congrats and best wishes for the remaining process. Why did it take so long? Was your husband called for an interview?

Hi vermas, yes my husband had interview Jan 2015 one year after his file was transferred to Delhi. Secondly, we waited for remedical request after interview as VO said she would email. We waited 2 weeks then went ahead and did it on our own. The actual email came one month after lol. Anyways, it took them 3 months to reach their system cuz they manually had input the data due to new number. So word of advice wait for request because it automatically gets uploaded in week from the number they have registered to file. Unless you're in interview queue and your medicals are about to expire in that case do them prior to interview so you can hand officer e-receipt. Otherwise just wait for request to not cause further delay.

Fiza my girl stay strong your file will start moving keep hope and faith. It's mentally draining but they can't keep files forever. In meantime prepare for your interview so that they can give you visa on the spot you're medicals are up to date ?

Can you plz share your experience about PCC? Did they ask a new one?

Hi Bir, after my husband's interview he was asked to resubmit new pcc. I am not sure how it works with pcc as I know some members have got visa with expired pcc. So for this definitely wait for a request because you need to have your passport on hand to get pcc. The medical has to be valid in order for them to issue visa upto the point you land in Canada. I know that with the long wait we try to take matters in our own hand and try to resubmit things prior to their request to speed up things but that's not always the case.

One thing I learned is asking for medical and pcc upfront in application is misleading it should only be done and sent after it reaches Delhi. Since they are taking so long to get to files medicals expire and have to be redone again extra time and money. Secondly, wait for requests there is a reason for this process in place in the end it works faster and avoids overlap and confusion. In some cases they can extend medicals by 3 months. Resubmitting in advance just gives them more time to slowly issue visa cuz it extends things by a year. If one has an interview date coming and medicals are about to expire in that case do them prior and hand emedical receipt copy to VO because your directly speaking to someone and they will enter all info required and avoid sending another request

We did send them an updated remedical without request in March itself. It should be updated in their systems by now.

\i have been preparing my husband for interview eversince we knew file is in queue for interview. My poor husband is tired of me now asking same questions again and again making sure he remembers all.

We have been preparing for an exam for which we don't even know the due date yet....lolz

Wow !! Congrats ! That's awesome ! Am so glad it worked out for you. 2 weeks after writing to Case review you got a resolution. Now it could still be a coincidence. But anyways after rhomank I tend to believe that it helped.

It means NDVO is now working on September First week applications (pjot88's App.filed on Sep 4. And Medicals on June 7)

And they are sending remedical requests if medicals expired.

So for November applicants like me will have to wait minimum two months to hear anything from NDVO.
