today i checked ecas and till yesterday it was showing 2 applications one which we filed from canada and which we had withdrawn...

and indian application filed from India ...today on ecas its just showing 1 application which is from india ar/mr thats it ....does it mean they have started action on my file or just deleting some status on my file ?

Guys - I am looking at getting a MP enquiry done in the coming week because there has been no action on my wife's file despite the GCMS case notes indicating that our relationship is genuine. No red flags whatsoever anywhere. Wondering what is the procedure to meet a MP from my riding for the enquiry besides do we have to fill any form etc., and what are the documents that we need to take with us?

When I sponsored NDVO's processing timescale was 13 months and by the time the file was transferred it moved to 15 months and today it is 16 months. So my 16 months of wait is still not over yet. I am currently in my 10th month. Do you think it would still be a good idea to approach the MP?

Please advise.

Well...you need to find out the mp of your area...you have to give your file details etc . dunno if they may ask you to fill the form as we have not done MP enquiry yet !

and it totally depends what kind of answer you will get they may ask wait till prescribed time of application is over or if they are nice enough may connect with NDVO and get back to you within a week's time. what ever it is it can't harm your application right eh !

or you can wait till end of april and then seek clarification with your MP !

Hi all,

Couple of questions

- Can I (the sponsor) be the representative for my wife ? Filling out IMM5476 for her at the moment

- For Additional Family Information (IMM 5406), I believe only the applicant (my wife) will have to fill this out and not me right ?

Thank you each one of you who sent their wishes.
I knew my post would cause speculation and confusion. But I just had to let you all know.

I have said this before..
I think NDVO is working on applications continuously.
There were about 4754 applications last year. ~396 per month if we distribute evenly. We have 20 or 10 or max 30 people per month on forum.
Almost 370 more people per month are out there in real world. We are not seeing a real representation here. esp its evident in last 3 months.

Few July applicants got IP in Dec 2014. Like right now NDVO should be in September or October. But we can only keep guessing.
Lets hope that those in forum get updates.

Also any silent readers please register and post ur status even if u r Jan applicant, even if u finished the process. It really helps those who are waiting.

CIC stuck after 20 July applicants. no IP or DM afterwards. :

1st AOR email from CIC that my App received on the above date was on 20 Jan 2015

Second email (SA) from CIC that Sponsorship Approved was on 30 Jan 2015. Was told that Application has been forwarded to NDVO

But NO communication from NDVO yet. ???

Medical, PCC and Landing fees payment .......all done up front.

ECAS status: A/R and M/R

Should I contact NDVO as no communication received from them yet?????
