How much time did it take after the file transfer to NDVO?
My file was transferred on 23rd march 2015. I was expecting the second AOR this week cuz someone mentioned tht we receive it in 2 to 3 weeks.

Yes me too in the same situation buggleboy n fiza.. we applied in aug 2014.. u mean to say all second marriage cases take mre than a year??

I don't know. I am just wondering why it is slow and is it because it is 2nd marriage. Who know. I wonder!

Couple of questions about the application

- For the supporting documents, do I need to get anything notarized ? For example, photocopies etc ?

- Do I need a separate cover letter from myself (sponsor) and my wife or one should suffice ? What are the main points to highlight in the letter and how long is it usually ?

Find my timelines below:

Applied: Dec 2nd 2014 (recieved by CIC)
SA Approval: Feb 24th 2015
Still havent got AOR for NVDO. I havent got any confirmation email/letter or anything either from Missisauga office or NVDO. Checked the status with ecase & call centre. I havent client Id(UCI) so far.
Mine(sponsorer) second marriage but my wife's(application) first marriage. I have sent all the required docs like divorce petition, divorce decree, marriage certificate, photes, whatapp chat message etc to CIC. Is there anything more I need to send. The way things are going looks like it will be end of the year I hear anything from CIC.
Is there anything I could do apart from MP enquiry to speed up the process?

Its been 2 month Ndvo stooped to work./And going to 9 month complete but no response please weak up Ndvo visa officer.

Really strange. Today I called the call center and funny situation; got a message "we are sorry. we cannot transfer your call to an agent at this moment. Please try again later". Was busy and hence could not call back. Will try tomorrow.

Now my data has come back online. Don't know what screw up took place at their end. However nothing new as far as my data is concerned. DM and AR/MR. So same old same old as far as I am concerned. Waiting for "the" time

from NDVO. It just says application received whereas on average, people who applied within the same month or before or after (1 Month) have either got a decision made or visa received :-X ??? :'(
