guys I need your help!!!! can New Delhi ask for PPR if police check has expired???????? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? .... dont know what to do
Dear ydj Dilydj_dil said:Next would be "In Process" for applicant. Which could take months. Follow the spreadsheet to see the trends.
PCC has expiry date of 3 months, and that is considered when application is submitted. So, if your PCC was less than 3 months old when you submitted the application, you are fine. Its not the same as Medical - they don't keep asking for renewal like for Medical.kamila_26H said:guys I need your help!!!! can New Delhi ask for PPR if police check has expired???????? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? .... dont know what to do
"In Process" is a broad term that appears on ECAS, meaning your application is "In Process". "In Progress" starts a lot earlier in GCMS, and each section has "In Progress". Eligibility has "In Progress", Security, Criminality, Medical etc. I think when sufficient sections are "In Progress" your application will move to "In Process" in ECAS. But, seeing how NDVO is doing things, "In Process" doesn't mean a lot - your application can stay "In Process" for 4-5 months, or can go to DM in 2 weeks. It just means your application overall is moving forward and someone is looking into things.Deep Son said:Dear ydj Dil
Can you please let me know if there is any difference between "In process" and In progress" ??
My CGMS notes say "In progress" from November 2014.

How do we add signatures under our name ?
Thanks ydj_dil for clarifying the info. as I felt that there is a subtle difference between In Process and In Progress. In Process seems to be superior to In Progress (from what was mentioned on this forum elsewhere). Last week when I received the GCMS case info, w.r.t Security and Criminality, they have not even initiated it even though Eligiblity status is set to Passed and the case officer has mentioned that the relationship appears genuine. Not sure how long one needs to wait for that Einstein's mercy. It's over a year and my wife's medical expired too.ydj_dil said:"In Process" is a broad term that appears on ECAS, meaning your application is "In Process". I would say go by GCMS notes - they reflect the exact status of your application. Is Eligibility "Pass"? Are Medicals "Pass"? Is security done, criminality done? Etc. Once all are done, application goes to "RFV" - Ready for Visa, and may stay there for a few weeks/months (my case 2 months), and then finally some officer will issue PPR.
congrats dude, Now your wait is almost over.naonidh said:SUper OMG
