I have a question when the passport request comes, does it change your status on CIC website or you just get the mail :

HI I AM DIVYESH, I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION ON 17TH JAN 2014, AND I RECEIVED REASSESSMENT OF MEDICAL IN DECEMBER FIRST WEEK. I COMPLETED MY MEDICAL AGAIN AND SENT IT TO DELHI EMBASSY ON 7TH DEC 2014. FILE FILE STATUS SHOWING "IN PROCESS".
CAN ANY ONE HAVE IDEA ABOUT HOW MUCH TIME THEY TAKE FOR PASSPORT REQUEST. AND FOR HOW MUCH TIME EMBASSY TAKE TIME TO GIVE BACK OUR PASSPORT?
