Hi Friends,
I have few questions to ask.
1. Before travelling to Canada which things we need to keep in mind,Immigration perspective(before starting and after landing etc).
2. Which flight is better via London or Brussels. :-\
All the best wishes for all !!
Thanks
1. Before starting you just have to make sure that you have everything with you in terms of landing papers and passport. Make sure to always keep passport with you not in carry bags or purse away from you even in flight. Never leave your handbag with anyone whom you don't know.
2. When you land here on the airport, make sure you collect your luggage before going for immigration thing. Also people who are traveling far, I mean if the first landing point (city) is not your destination and is taking connecting flight, please collect your luggage and re-submit it to the connecting flight belt.
Example:
Traveling from New Delhi to Edmonton
Flight route - New Delhi - London - Toronto - Edmonton
You will have to collect your luggage in Toronto and will have to put them on connecting flight belt, then go for immigration thing and then search for your connecting flight gate number.
Also people who wants to add their spouse last name to their name and don't have it on their passport then let Immigration person know that you want to have your last name as your spouse. They will make the changes accordingly and you will get your PR card with the name as you want.
Lastly keep some Canadian dollars with you in 1 & 2 dollar coins and 5,10,20 dollar bills.
Ohh and have your destination address with you so that you know where you going and can let immigration person know where to mail your PR card.
