Recently i sent them a mail in November 19th 2014, in effect of which they updated the status on ecas as 'we have initiated the application on November 2014'. Hi Kahlon, Yes email them again. I would also suggest that you do MP inquiry and order GCMS notes to see what is going on with your application.

Download the consent form IMM 5744 from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
This should be completed by the spouse in India, and the "designated individual" is the sponsor who is requesting the GCMS notes. Check both the boxes in section 4 of the form, and sign it
