They mentioned in the email that visa has been issued and it's valid till 4th sept 2015. The visa validity depends on the validity of Medicals. There is another applicant who had interview on 8th sept and is still waiting for remeds. I read somewhere in the forum that vos can extend medical validity within 3 months of its expiry. If you Medicals expired less than 3 months ago then chances are there that your meds might also be extended

they extend ur medical and its valid for one whole year I don't believe it.

Has NDVO forgotten about my file?? Its approaching 16 months soon.
And almost 2months since IP...as much as I feel happy for all those lucky ones on getting their DM's & VISAS, I am beginning to get frustrated more..

I know this process is soo bad but dere is nothing we can do..

Thanks Jasmine. I have been a silent member on the forum, I do check all the updates. So happy for you though, I am yet to see a case on the forum that got a Med extension like yours. All the best!
This really goes to show NDVO's inconsistency in dealing with applicants and how they cherry pick applications.I really wish they had a more organized approach which would certainly ease out the angst and frustrations "real-people" go through..

Thanks there! I can feel what you are going through. Although I got ppr and its decision made I am still stressed out!!! It's side effects of how ndvo works. They have made me a psycho! Look at my timeline I went tHrough each and every stage of this process like adr and interview. This whole thing has Really affected my relation with my husband.plus a lot of sacrifices and other things also involved

I agree with you on this, I really do. I can understand your feeling that the immigration process is detrimental to a relationship.
People have different tolerance levels and few don't survive the stress of this process means that the marriage will fall apart anyway. I think that is incredibly cruel - but it stands to reason that those who are still waiting for their PR to be finalized are afraid to consider the fact that it's possible their relationship might not survive the stress of this process. It's a shame when any relationship falls apart before it has a chance to begin.
It is evident that this inefficient, incompetent and cloudy working atmosphere of CIC and NDVO have screwed the lives of many applicant's. RKS and Peerzad are quite right. This waiting game is effecting our lives real bad only god knows when these morons will get their heads out of their (A**es)

congratulations ! I have a question regarding your interview that you had it in july and you were waiting all this long to get your visa
my husband has interview end of this month and can you plz help me how to prepare for his interview, they asked me for possible phone interview. I am not sure why? do i need to go with him? what is your experience and would you or any body can share,plz?

No need to go...if dey need dey will call u wen ur husband's interview will be on...dey called my husband during my interview was going on nd dey talked in front of me...dey will call only if needed...so make sure u r awake during his intetview..nd dey will also ask ur no. To ur husband nd den call u just to make sure if ur husband knows ur no....

Hi...everyone...I m December 9 applicant. ....N received re medical request with filled re medical form . .....on Aug 1st. ....we done it on Aug 4th. .......they had given us 60 days for that....doctor send the report on Aug 7th ......now m getting scared.....why they r taking so much time for DM. ....though we r in process since Aug 2nd. ......can somebody tell me that how much time NDVO will take to change status from IP to DM.
