Hi,
I have a tricky situation -
I am a 2014 applicant and have received my MR and RPRF a week back... now i need to travel to US for 3 months , what if I get a Passport request in between ? I see varying times for requesting passport after MR and also the varying time for return of passport from NDVO.

Any suggestions on what should be followed?

It appears as if you have barely recieved your AOR last week.
There won't be any PPR before march if that is the case.
You surely can visit Uncle Sam. NDVO will give you at least 30 days to submit your passport.

If you are in IP, and have applied in early 2014 you should not risk going to US. As per the present trend, IP's are converting to DM's and PPR's pretty fast. All the best.

Yep, I got my AOR a week back.
But i saw some ppl getting PPR within 30 days on submit of MR. So was little concerned.

Actually it's hard to answer this question coz they didn't used to do it before
But recently I saw one applicant received Mail regarding its PP dispatched on bla bla bla date .......

Are there any chances of rejecting based on medicals?

Never seen this kind of situation on this forum ...
No one have ever been got rejection because of medical problem ...

IP stands for In Process, DM stands for Decision Made.

I know you have a baby and you applied for its Citizenship Certificate and Passport. So have I, we both had our babies after applying for PR. I got my babies 2 yr limited validity canadian passport last week and they are still processing the citizenship certificate. Did your baby get his passport?

Hey I don't think it will take long for you to get citizenship proof. I received my daughter's citizenship in less than 2 months and I am getting her passport in few days..

That's great to know. Do you think this has anything to do us with us being in in process for these many weeks. I've been in in process since Aug 10.
