My ecas status is been changed to "Decision made" I just want to know what does it mean,

n I have not got any PP request yet

plz reply. . . .

Is that mean that our application process is completed?

YESSS DECISION MADEEEE!!!

OMG... such a long painful time has come to pass. Me and my wife are so relieved right now at this very moment. I can see us being together after so many days of hardship. Almost in tears right nowww!!

I will send an update once VISA is received!

advantages: walking distance to consulate; rooms are not bad; close to tourist areas

disadvantage: pricey; food is not that great in the hotel; no hotels nearby (but within walking distance there are few hotels

if you speak hindi and going by train to Delhi, there are many hotels near train station


if you end up choose hotel diplomat, call them and bargain (that's what manager told me after getting my money)

I have a question for u ..my notes says everything positive regarding my marriage
As per them marriage is bonafide and all proofs seems satisfactory
Eligibility in progress ...does that mean Interview will not happen naa...also is that mean App is in process or still open?? ecase still shows app received where as notes says Eligibility in progresssecurity and criminality not started

Plz suggest!!

Hi all,

I have a question and need expert and senior advise on it.. Please help me out...

I had applied for visiting visa in March 2014 before my PR application and my TRV got rejected on same grounds travel history and family ties..

Then we had applied for PR in April 2014. We mentioned everything about our TRV application and rejection in our letter to the embassy. We have also attached the rejection letter for reference.

But the problem is in hurry i marked NO as the answer for the red flags question provided in the form that "Have you ever refused TRV to canada"..

Now can anybody suggest is this can lead to interview of can be taken as false representation or NDVO will consider our explanation provided in the letter?

Do i need to send another form and an explanation i marked NO as a mistake and in a hurry.

Please reply as soon as possible... waiting....

This is a very good sign Pooja and Interview will not happen as officer has verified your documents and you are a genuine case in their eyes. As for when will they close the eligibility to move to security/criminality next - nobody can tell you that answer

But it's good news again and keep praying and hopefully within a few weeks you will hear good news.

Actually I am the sponsor and my wife is leaving from UP (Rampur) to come to me in Milton, Ontario

flying out first week of October (I hear a collective sigh of relief from members)..if your notes says 'marriage is compatible and officer is satisfied' then there is no interview. Don't rely too much on ecas sometimes they update it late....sometimes all of a sudden things start moving faster and ecas changes to ' in progress' and then 'decision made'...

as Primoo suggested, just send them a letter saying that this was answered wrongly by mistake and that you had explained everything in the cover letter that was sent along with the application. You don't have to send a second letter but to make sure that they don't skip reading the first explanation letter, you want to send a second one. This is not a false representation since you had already explained everything in the first letter. And this mistake alone would not end in an interview but if you have red flags then that might lead to an interview.

yes and you will receive a passport request soon..hats off to you for waiting this long and with patience...
