hey..my partner applied for u.s. visitor visa twice and was refused twice and did not mention it in the application..did mention about canadian visitor visa refusal..at the time of interview no questions were asked about u.s. visa omissions...lots of questions on canadian visa refusal..as many in the forum explained just send a letter to them about the mistake and ask them to include it...but you do have to write 'i will not do it again' 100 times on a separate sheet of paper and send it to them so that they will forgive you...by the way ask your hubby to lighten up..mistakes are made and not the end of the world as not to pick up the phone and comfort you (if he can't handle a small mistake like this, how is he going to live together in one room dealing face to face 24 hrs a day; 7 days a week; 365 days a year? and rest of lifetime)

i agree with waiting 2 exhale....dont worry and just fix your mistake..NDVO just want honesty and send them the correct information and you;ll be fine. do it soon and courier the docs to delhi on super duper urgent package. good luck hun!

I received SA on 31st july 2014 & now i have got an AOR to send the proof of payment "RPRF to our office in Mississauga" . i would pay it online by card. my question is do i have to send the proof to Mississauga office too ? or just to NDVO would be enough ?

n yes i talked to hubby n seems like i have 2 options
(a) send them this new schedule A along with a cover letter
(b) or wait for them for doc request and then send them this new info ......as they always ask for new schedule A
SO NOW THE THING IS WHICH OPTION TO CHOOSE

Hello So-lonely,
Some people have reported here that they were able to talk to the NDVO when called (mostly you can't). So another option can be calling your VO. If you get lucky they will answer and you may ask them.
Otherwise simply choose option A. Do not wait for them to ask for it.

In your earlier correspondence you said you did a mistake. The moment you realised it you wish to inform the concerned authorities which is the normal thing. If found out subsequently the behaviour of authority is you have bad intension to conceal and doubt the integrity culminating in not waiving the interview. This results a confirmed interview which cause further delay and more anxiety to all.
Trust the matter is clear why people in the forum always suggest accept mistakes immediately and send mail.
