My wife and i got IP today.

Our dates are:

App filed: Dec 19 2013
AOR: Jan 10 2014
SA: Jan 23 2014
PPR: Feb 24 2014
IP: Aug 5 2014
DM: Aug ?? 2014
Visa: Aug ?? 2014

Oct and November people- Pl do not lose hope. Here is what I think is happening:

Oct and November files are already assigned to some VOs who are busy cracking away at the Oct and Nov files. In the meanwhile, i think NDVO has either gotten extra VOs to support them or NDVO has transferred Dec files to some other embassy just to reduce backlog and that is why you see this non-sequential kind of processing. aLL OF THIS MEANS only good news to Oct and Nov people. JUST HANG IN THERE! Your turn is coming soon enough.

We did inquiry at NDVO through our lawyer and they reply on d next day of email and said your file is awaited for further review...hope will get visa very soon...

I think ndvo generate many emails just for MP's...my MP said the same when I hv done my remedical and status chnged to IP. ..but still pending for further review. ..

Does anyone think that NDVO is just trying to show their efficiency by just giving IP to december applicants. So that they can show the government that they have almost finished 2013, however they still havent given any DMs yet for past one month except for medical expiry cases.
I was the first one from December to get IP one month ago and still waiting for DM and so as other members of the forum who got IP around the same date.

absolutely right. ...thats same question in my mind. ..they just focus on IP's God knows when they look again IP cases and start giving DM's....

Hi all,

How long does it take to receive a passport back from CIC after seeing DM. Mine has been DM since July 31, 2014.

don't worry u will received ur passport in few days or max next week. ..its take 2 to 15 days time...gud luck

my wife and kid application went in-process from aug 2nd.

> Application received: December 18, 2013.
> PPR -> Note I didn't receive PPR, however sent passport of wife + kid to delhi and mailed them -> got reply (after 2 months) that they received and added in the file.
> In Process - Aug 2nd - 2014

Keep faith...i am sure you shall also go through.
I know how hard it is to leave your beloved ones and come here.

Am new to this forum but from time to time i go through the valuable posts of the experienced members. I appreciate all the members for their cooperation and support towards each other.

I would like to share my timeline here:
medical done 20-10-2013
date of application received at mississauga 11-11-2013
date of sponsorship approval 07-01-2014
date of file transfer at NDVO 19-11-2013
date of passport request 14-01-2014
date of ADR 29-07-2014

As, this is our second marriage, they asked my sponsor's divorce petition. They received the same by 05-08-2014.
Now, what do you guys think will be next. How much more time i need to keep my patience.

Moreover, am not in that much hurry bcoz i got 1.5month old baby and whose documents has already been submitted with NDVO last month.

congratss for ur lil one. ...there are lots of other forum members who got ADR's...so I think they will changed the same at the same time for all of u...now ndvo create lots of groups-remedical,, IP, , dec cases IP's,, ADR cases....
so don't worry as for ur timeline ur medical expires is in Oct so before ur medical u sure got ur visa...

Hello there,

I have been waiting for my passport since last 8 months now. I have been checking the immigration website regularly and it's the same ( medical reports received )

My wife has applied for me as a spouse visa and I wanted to know the approx wait time for the passport to arrive.

It was sent on dec 24th and received on dec 26th 2013 by the Delhi immigration office.

Now when I checked It yesterday it says that medical reports have been received.

What will be the next step and when can I expect my passport so I can travel.

Appreciate your help

Its depends on which month applicant are u..? if ur status still shows application received then it will take time for few months. .when ur medical expires. ..?
my passport was in ndvo on last 11 months. ..I m also still waiting. ..

Why do they ask for passports n keep them ? plus which are the office that they call you for interview ...? i thought they did it only in delhi

new Delhi is dere main embassy but they also take interviews in chandigarh embassy's...those applicants who belong to Punjab and also some who near chandigarh all of them gave dere interviews in chandigarh. ..
and for passports they just lots dere minds and keep passport for last 11-12 months and forget to issue visas...duffers
