OMG! OMG! OMG! Yesterday my Status changed to 'Decision made'...
Went Out with friends today and came back home to see.... Passport with Visa! OMG! OMG! OMG!

I just want to thank everyone in this group who helped me with ordeal... God Bless all of you... and may all of you get over this ordeal asap with the good news of Visa on your Passport!

Jk we are in same boat.I think they vl ask for our pp when our file goes into process.

nov 6 2013, it says : "we received your application for permanent ... in nov 6 2013"
"medical result has been received."
Once they requested my passport, but after six months they sent it back to me about 4 days ago, without any explanation letter along to tell what the reason of its sending is...!
I think because I'm a student here in India and the Indian Visa on my passport was expired, so maybe they have sent it for extension of my Indian Visa first...!!!

I applied for my wife's immigration under Family class in October 2013. ( I am Canadian Citizen) .

Application is received by CIC Mississauga on Oct 29, 2013.
My sponsorship is approved on Nov 20, 2013.
File transferred on Nov 26, 2013.
Passport was requested on Jan 20,2014 and sent on Jan 23 ,2014.
Current PR status is Application and Medical results are received.

She is 25 and I am 29 years old. Same Religion,Our's is a arranged marriage,Our families are acquaintances.We didn't have engagement party. Over 200 people attended our wedding. We haven't gone to honeymoon as i was there only for 2 weeks.

My question is, We haven't sent any phone /skype records. we sent over 30 photos. I visited twice in last one year, once for our wedding in Aug 2013 for two weeks and In Dec 2013 for 10 days ( Passport stamps and airline ticket copies are sent).
Do u guys think ours is straight forward application. Any chances for ADR request.

make an appointment and your wife needs to sign some forms giving permission to her MP to access your personal records..some MPs send forms by email and some want person to visit office

welcome to the forum. ..if you send ur passport on the right address then don't worry its automatically delivered in right department...or if you worried about it then apply GCMS notes with the help of notes you will know that your passport reached embassy's or not...

In January 2014 they requested my passport and I have sent and they confirmed receipt of my ppr in feb 1st!
But 6 days ago, after six months keeping my passport they sent it back to me without any explanation letter along with the passport to tell what the reason of it's sending is!!
but I guess it is because of My Indian Visa, Since I'm student here in India, so my Indian Visa was expired in 19 jun 2014, and maybe they sent back my passport to extent my Indian Visa first!
But I'm confused now, that whenever I extend my Indian Visa, Should I send my Passport back or they would request it again whenever they start my application process???
I need to be consulted plz

for a person who has no twisted mind this seems like a straight forward case and you have provided enough documents to show that relationship is genuine..but for ND visa officer's mind 'yeah you proved that you got married, came to see your wife one time after the wedding so how are you communicating all these months..this seems you just came, got married and then came back for 10 days after the wedding and no communication in between.....show me the proof that you were having a genuine relationship...'

indian visa in your passport? so are you from a neighboring country here in india as a student? so you probably have to extend your visa first to stay in india then send your passport back to NDVO with visa..in the mean time send them a case specific inquiry asking for an explanation..the down side is, it takes a month to get an answer...i guess send your case specific inquiry while extending your visa (you need it anyway in order to stay here)

your Indian visa in which country you are belong to.?
yes ofcourse they send ur passport back bcoz ur visa expires. .bcoz they never do that to anyone in this forum. .so extend ur visa and send the passport back to them..
