not at all necessary but if you are paranoid (be afraid very afraid because you are dealing with NDVO) you can send a copy of your receipt..

Your husband can also do that but what i would advise and also as per CIC website (link that i sent you). you have to send it to the original address where you sent your initial application.

your husband can sign and send you a scanned copy and you can send it from here

it took me a month and a half after remedicals but some people have been waiting way longer than that...

lol....very funny...yes I have been dealing with NDVO since dinosaur era but dinosaurs are still waiting for their visas and seeing ecas status as 'application received'...now that I am 1008 baba, I will erect statues all over India, more statues than mayawathi's and I will make a rule that everyone should worship me before they start their day....

1008 baba I seek your wisdom. Please tell me if NDVO updates the eCAS status on any day or just Monday and Saturday? I have noticed most people get their status change on these two days of the week even though it says Tuesday on that awful eCAS website.

not sure about 'BFD' some people in the forum had submitted extra documents but had to wait for a long time to see status change...if the spreadsheet is working (for some reason i am not able to open it..is everyone having this problem?) please check the information on how long it took for change of status after submitting additional documents

Thanks W2E, they gave me 1 month to send additional documents and the time limit ends on 11th July(They received on 16th June). Also my medical will be expiring on 16th of Aug. Really worried now as i don't want to be messed up in re-medicals as it will further delay the process to few months. What do you have to suggest??
