not necessarily..you would think in a normal process that is the way it should be..but with NDVO basement world (these people haven't seen the sunlight in years and their brains are distorted) everything is upside down..people wait for 12 months with 'application received' starring at them and all of sudden it is 'hey your medical is expiring tomorrow can you leave yesterday?"

in the forum during the last 2-3 weeks, there are quite a few posts suggesting that ECAS is not updated regularly. Hence that could be a the problem as supposed to the NDVO actions on the case....

congrats..every time I think NDVO can't go lower than this, now they have ecas showing 'application received' and then 'DM' by passing 'IP'..is your medicals expiring soon? that might be the reason for 'AR' to 'DM'

The status never went to in process.

Now waiting for the passport with a shiny visa!!!

I m amazed that they did direct DM FROM AR and skipped IP in your case ..
BUT IN MY CASE AND OTHER AUGUST APPLICANTS THEY SKIPPED THE WHOLE FILE

Yes u right desijatt, even same here pata nai kaha file rakhi h, 8th August ko bhul gai, my medical is too expiring on 5th august, same as his expiring but kuch nai aya ab tak, kuch to aia, application recieve dekh kar mein frustate ho gai hu...humane kya galat kiya ha NDVO k sath.. they hv made our life so hard...very much worried.

@ Aroundwrd99~ you should be happy now , going 'in process' after interview is a very good sign . Otherwise it would have went straight to 'DM'. Next couple days you'll get email for remedical .

I am an august 19th applicant, got DM on june 9, and still waiting for passeport. I am from Andhra Pradesh. now day 12 still no visa. Is this normal? They ship in speed post or normal post? Small worry now, the postman said to me it should take only 4-5 days from New Delhi to Andhra....? Now I imagine all kinds of badlucks, like they forgot my passeport in middle of the place or a mad postman just steal my passport... lol my mind just coming crazy... :-\

My Ecas status now shows App Recd and before it was " In Process " but if I click that option it shows inside that we started processing your application on June 11. What does that mean. Is it system glitch because outside it shows app recd and if I click that option it shows we started processing your file on June 11, 2014.

Congratulations. The visa and passport will be sent by registered post So the signature affixing stamp and being sent to despatch section between Saturday Sunday holidays of postal department is the permitted delay to this adds the laziness of visa officers.
