Hi Navdeep,

I can understand..it is such a long wait for u but I think your wait is almost coming to an end. I am sure they are issuing your visa with stamp now. Did you ever do an MP inquiry to find out why it took so long for you?

status also showing medicals recieved

ummm my husband got a letter saying that sponsorship was approved and application submitted to Delhi. This letter was dated 26 Sep 2013.

I'm very encouraged to see that they've started processing your application. Me and my wife's file was forwarded to the delhi office on October 17th, so it might be very soon for me as well!!

Finally my wait is over... Got my passport with visa on it ;D ;D

My processing details are as follows :

Applied on - 29 July 2013
In process - 12 April 2014
Decision made - 20 April 2014

How long does it take for the visa to come after the "in process" status?

My details are:

Application submitted: 6 Sep 2013
Application received: 11 Sep 2013
Passport requested: 25 Oct 2013
Passport sent: 29 Oct 2013
In process: Since 21 April 2014

BTW, just to confirm, yours is a spousal sponsorship application, and not child sponsorship, right?

It usually takes a few weeks for the eCAS to go from 'In Process' to 'Decision Made'. Though there have been some unfortunate cases extending to few months...

I'm spousal sponsorship! The process should go fast because I have an existing 10 year Canadian tourist visa so hopefully all my records will show up.

there is nothing difference between spouse and child sponsorships both are same according to mp and even my case approved just along with july end applicants

yea, right..I am one of the good looking movie stars and they want to see me....they better give my visa since they have put me through all sorts of craps..no passport request so far; did not open file for 10 months; did not send me official interview notification yet and who knows what other yttihs (i put the actual word and wonderful computer replaced it with *censored word*ty...lol..) things NDVO will do on interview day..oh well I will just go with the flow and deal with whatever they decide....as for why interview the usual suspects - age difference; previous relationship; one of the siblings not married yet; tourist visa denied twice and so on....

why its consider to be red flag if siblings are not married..becoz I have a siblings n they r not married yet n I have a interview scheduled...

your's and ndvo relation ship is peculiar. some one can make a film with your story. bye the bye we received passport with stamp on it.
