How long does it take after an NDVO application becomes "in process"?

minimum of 7 to 8 months ...check spreadsheet to get an accurate picture...some people stay 'in process' for long time and some quickly change to 'decision made' after they get in process..not is predictable with NDVO

Now people are waiting 9- 10 months because if we look at August people it has almost been 9-10 months of waiting

HI Everyone good morning..good evening....
this is just to people who are yet to send the passport. (waiting for PPR)

I had sent Original passport of my wife and kid despite NOT being asked....
they just told to send - Fee receipt and Medical copy.
Along with it, i did send passport.

I mailed Delhi CIC, and they replied after 1.5 months that they received and they have added in the file.

thank god -- we were worried on that not now just in QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ

My wife's e-cas now shows "Decision Made" & she received a call from Chandigarh visa office today afternoon to pick up her passport with shiney visa. FINALY!!! after months(1 year almost) of emotional frustration and mental torture, there is light at the end of the dark tonnel.

Got a call fro NDVO...they sent me a corrected e-mail for my medicals and promptly called back within the hour to confirm if all is ok!!

Thank God!! Now to get my medicals done....n then wait...again!!!

That's such a relief for you. Don't know why they don't have it right the first time.

is it normal for NDVO to transfer passports to Chandigarh for pick-up?...prolly convenient for ppl in Punjab?...hope my husband gets a call like that soon!
