Current Status: "Pending Initial Review" / "Application Received"

Did not receive second pp request as yet.

Hey CMR, I believe recently NDVO has stopped asking for passport submission until they start processing the application. We have similar timelines and I believe we shall optimistically expect them to start processing our files only by end of May.

You may want to file for GCMS notes to figure out what exactly has happened with your application so far.

It's Decision Made on e-cas!!!! Been waiting for this moment for almost a year now... pfffff what a tough journey it has been...
I sincerely thank everyone in this forum who stepped up and helped me and everyone at various stages of this application process!! I sincerely pray for everyone who are still waiting to get their PR... With God's grace you all will get your Visas as soon as possible....!!!

On of my friend applied on July 9th got DM just few minutes back... he never got IP or even medicals received....it was a direct DM

guys guys guys guys its in process for me...i checked 30 min ago till then it was just application received now its showing IN PROCESS
We received Priyanka Sharma's application for permanent residence on July 26, 2013.
We started processing Priyanka Sharma's application on April 3, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
Damn I can wait to get over with this process!!!!!!

OMG OMG ;D finally i got DM today and got call from Chandigarh embassy to collect my passport, I'm very happy and can't express my feelings, finally this wait is over ;D

Congratulations to all! It is great to see the progress.

I have a feeling that some applicants which are transferred to Chandigarh office are being processed quicker than others. This is good that they have separated the process in order to ensure faster decisions. Can you confirm if you ever received communications from Chandigarh office or Delhi office?
