I need urgent help please. Today when I check the E-cas for my wife I got a different update.

Everything in the e-cas shows null. Also, when I check using my wife file number it doesn't show anything and goes information cannot be found. I have to check using my information.

We received null information for the Applicant
We received null medical


Can anybody please let me know what is this and why is there null. I am going nuts.

They might have updated your ECAS with good news but it is the system that is going belly up. It must be a glitch in the DB.

Nothing to worry it will get set fine in a day or two.

Yes, 2 other forum members mentioned that their medicals had been extended by 3 months as per their GCMS notes. By the way, did NDVO really ask you to resend another PCC?

Check instructions column....it says that if decision on the file is pending only due to medical expiry officer will issue medical instructions for new full routine if immigration medical examination is older than 15 months...and again after 2nd bullet point it says "It is recommended that the officer review the validity of the medical certificate of all the persons being part of an immigration application and request the reassessment of the medical file for those eligible for the process if needed"

Although the bulletin is dated May'2012, its worth the information and i guess in the end it is up to them to ask for reassessment.....In my case medicals are already 15months old.....so no way they are goin to exclude me from 'RE' list....LOL

Few days ago I mailed Delhi immigration office

This is what they replied :


Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

We acknowledge that our office has received your original passport(s) for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team for a review to take place to ensure all requirements have been met for the application to move to the next steps in processing.

This file is currently pending review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as that review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants if any further documentation or information is required.

Please note that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. Rest assured that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant or authorized representative, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.

Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application. Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application.

I know. I prepared my self that NDVO is not going to give me any updates till June.....my hubby thinks he will get the visa by April and it will be a April fool joke...haha

Thank you for the information GetmeVisa, from the looks of it they will not ask me to do the re-PCC as the time for it is gone now. I have ordered GCM notes and should be getting next week. Hey I just want to contact NDVO to get some information why it is taking so long to issue the visa and that the officer told us to do the medical and should get the visa in 3 weeks.

Yes you should definitely go for inquiry......are you planning for MP inquiry?

guys dont worry from interview, if you have enogh proofs and your marriage is genuine then does not matter what are your red flags , you will pass your interview. My hubby got visa after the interview. If any body has any question pls ask via personal msg. Thanks to all of you.

Congrats that your husband passed his interview. Did you go with him to the interview too? When did he have his interview?
Hope he gets his shiny visa soon.

Technical glitches most likely. Do worry. Check it after the weekend and if it doesn't change, then contact them to report it.

Hello Get me Visa you had mentioned that medical can be extended up to three months.where did you get that information from did you apply Gcms notes. I see you did your medical three months before application date.I did my medical January 13 2013 they have just asked me to send my pcc by March 1, hope they wont ask me to do remedical again....
