Hi there I just finish my interview at chandigarh they give all document with pic and pp back as we'll I ask why u give me pp they told me we will send u letter after one week my question is any one recived same day visa or how long time I need to wait thanks

I think you'll only receive a visa right after the interview on the same day if your medical hasn't expired yet. And if your medical is expired, than your pp is required when you go to redo your medical.

My husband is a PR in Canada and he is Sponsoring me. My application was submitted and received at the Visa Office in Canada on July 2nd 2013. My passport was requested on Aug 27th and Medical Received was updated on Sep 12th. Since after that till now I haven't seen any update in my status. Its been more than 5 months since I submitted my passport and am really worried.. In the meanwhile I enquired about my application status to the visa office and they replied its pending initial review and this was on 29th Dec 2013.. Possibly when can I expect my visa ???

Do what everyone does at this stage, order your gcms notes, it'll give you a more clear picture of your current application process. PLEASE SEE "DJ INDIA" post above regarding gcms notes.

Have NDVO started any July applicant yet???

Not yet my friend, the latest I have heard is that a June 11 applicant (not from this forum) received DM. I am also July applicant, I think maybe a month more before we hear anything.

I am a July 11 applicant, passport requested in September. I had a MP inquiry done last month (January 10) and my MP said they have not touched your file yet. I think we have a month more to go before we hear any kind of update. As to when we can expect our visa, maybe 2 more months if we are lucky

Finally i m out.
Just got a call from NDVO saying they have issued permanent visa..
this is the best valentine gift to me by ndvo and i called my husband and shared the same gift with him.
thanks to all for sparing ur valuable time and advising me, thanks a million for bearing with me.

Wow, lucky person for getting the visa at the time of valentine and a proof of love always wins. Congratulations, I wish we all get the visas. Enjoy the moment and prey for all of us. SO happy for you and everybody who got visas.

my file was received on last of july 2013 and the letter was issued through airmail on september 2013 and i submitted my passport AT delhi high commission AND THEY received my passport on october 2013 through DHL ,so please let me know about the remaining process.

Exactly 2 months in IP today and exact 1 month left for medical to expire.....Hope to get some update now....
