I know we all are going through the pain of living far from our better halves. and Valentines day is on its way. But friends I have a question for you, is 14th feb the only day to celebrate valentines day?
our love for our partners is true thats why everyone of us is sticked to this forum . everyday is valentines day and i know this waiting kills but we should concentrate on good part when our love will be with us forever and no one in bloody hell can keep us apart...

And if we keep on thinking negative this wont make any difference to NDVO or anyone else and we will make our life difficult. So keep on loving your love everyday over phones, skype, or whatever communication you like. and time will fly....

Whats your timeline again?

Am sorry all the dates i have are as follows : Appl Rcvd: 13th June,2013
Meds were done in Feb,13 in dont know the exact date
Passport was submitted in Sept,13 Recvd on 31st Sept,13

We have hired someone to do all the work since it was takin so long i decided to keep a check on the same all the dates n details are not available to me. Is that enough?? I can find out the exact dates.

You are right ..... That's what exactly delayed all the visa file. Earlier the timeline was 6 month, then they changed to 10 and now 12 months .. sucks

Please help me: I need the website of the private agent who conduct background check, I need to email them. Someone did post it few weeks ago and said they will reply back 4-6 wks, Please let me know if anyone have that website address. Thank you

Welcome to the forum, if you check spreadsheet, June 10th applicant got visa, they have started working on June applicants and they are having many Jan-May applicants too, apply for notes or MP inquiry to check your current status, you should hear something good from them in next coming weeks, best of luck....share your complete timeline to add you on spread sheet...

My timeline is as follows :
Application received: 14th June,2013
Meds were done in May2013
Passport was submitted on August29: Received by NDVO on August30,2013
Till date ecas shows "Application received" and "Medical results received"

Hi Guys...i got email from MP...

I spoke with Citizenship and Immigration Canada and they advised the file is moving along and everything is up to date. CIC received the requested documents and are continuing to process the application.



It’s still in the early stages of processing therefore CIC advised I check on the file again in three months. I have put a reminder in my calendar.



Should you have any other questions, or you hear from CIC, please do not hesitate to contact me.

What NDVO doing....after 9 months...still early stage of processing?

My application was received on Dec 3, 2013
Sponsorship approval - 8th Jan

Delhi office sent am email with the file number of sponsored person on 10th feb but they didn't request the passport. I thought they usually send the passport request once the file is transferred to india.

Any idea how much time it will take to get the passport request, also will they send it in email or letter ?
