Do we have any idea of the timelines by NDVO for PR stamping ? I recently got the request letter for submitting Landing Fee & passport .

Congrats, You got PPR. If you have already paid for landing fees, you dont have to pay it again but you can attach a copy of the receipt.
Send you passport with the letter from NDVO as well. And now the waiting starts. You can check the spreadsheet to know who is being currently processed and how many people are ahead of you. The spreadsheet is the 1st link in my signature below. All the best.

Guys help me on this!! I wrote an email to NDVO stating that my file is in the embassy since 10 months and my life is all shattered. .it was a very senti email..to which they have replied the followingDear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Please note that we have received satisfactory medical results valid until 20Dec14. Currently the file is awaiting review by a visa officer to determine whether all statutory requirements have been met or not. Following which, the next steps will be determined and communicated to you.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Just to let you all know that..I was diagnosed with tuberculosis and my final reports were submitted on 18th December and MR on 24th December 2013.

Please tell me what this reply means!!!

I think it is a generic response. I don't think you should be scared about being diagnosed with TB. Latent TB and Active TB can be treated with medication. Another applicant had it too, took the meds and re-took medicals. It showed that TB was gone and she got her visa.
So don't worry

finally i reached my destination.
landed last night at yyz torronto airport. too cold here.
i wish all the best for each member of this form for thr visas
trust me once u get visa you will forget the wasted year to get visa, i dont even remember now that i was waiting for visa.

Congrats on landing safely and now being with your spouse. How did you find the customs process?
It certainly must have been very cold knowing that there was a storm coming through again with wind gusting up to 70km/h. Just keep warm and stay inside as much as possible. Wishing you a happy married life ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My MP has asked to wait...she said file is within processing time...but we will go to MP again in feb...

they all give the same standard response ...tell Myrah your MPs name and she will slap him/her for you if you don't want to do it....

now that you are in Canada, complain to your MP or immigration minister about the whole process...if every person who lands in Canada complains they might do something about NDVO..

Wether My process is start or not.

have you sent in your passport or not? NDVO hasn't started processing June applications seriously it takes time..you will see some movement by mid or end of Feb

For the last few weeks, ECAS is being temporarily unavailable every Saturday evening. I think it is because there will be status updates on Sunday.
