FOSS is another system that CIC uses just like GCMS and serves a different purpose. FOSS checking brought no match for your wife meaning she was never entered into the immigration system before. Nothing to worry.

Normally it takes a month to transfer file to New Delhi Visa Office. Check your spam folder in case a response from CIC ends up there. Give it a month and a half because of holidays and visa officers' laziness. Call CIC call center if you don't receive any communication by the end of third week of Jan. If you know your file number or client unique number, you can check online ((beware it will become an addiction to check every day then every hour..warn your family about this and ask for help if it gets out of hand. I believe there is an 'EAD anonymous group' (Ecas addiction) existing somewhere.)) Still wondering how powerful ECAS addiction is? on a holiday like today I checked my ecas knowing well that NDVO is closed and then sitting here and answering questions..my friend it is a curse and I need help

if you are asking about step by step process for collecting documents then there is no step by step process. Gather all the supporting documents such as photos, phone bills showing calls from Canada to India, proofs of trips taken with your significant other, any expenses spent together, any property documents (photocopies not the originals) owned under both your names, communication between you two, testimonials from family and friends, if it is love marriage a narration of how you both met and how it became a relationship, if married your honeymoon pictures if you had one, and so on...anything to prove that this relationship is genuine...

finally my ecas is showing in-process since morning today. they said we started processing your file on 19th dec. after 10 months at least thr is some change.my questions to senior members.

can someone get interview call after in-process?
i know its unpredictable but how long it takes these days to get decision made after in process??

There is no chance or interview after IP. And DM can take a weeks, especially now during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

My application has been finalised and new delhi office has asked me to send my passport for visa stamping.
Can anyone know how long New delhi office takes to send the passport back.

check Myrah's spreadsheet, you might get an idea..I think it should take a couple of weeks to a month

congrats saidpuria finally some good news.....now no interview for u since u got IP and u already got ADR so its a green signal from their side...wait for DM now.....last blast of DM was 7-9th nov after that hardly any visa's issued.....average was 4 weeks but seems like its more than 1-2 months in IP now......but im sure most of us will get DM's in jan....wish u a speedy DM and congratulations once again
