Hi, welcome to the forum. I am a July applicant with very similar timeline to you. But I haven't applied for GCMS notes yet because the NDVO is still working on May applications. Will apply if needed when they start with July applications... Hopefully in January. The whole system is messed up because there is no transparency how the visa officers work. Lots of people have many complaints about them. But what can we do except just accept our circumstances until a decision has been made on our files? Even if we question NDVO or MPs, we only get general responses most times.

Yes, I did notice that too once you posted your timeline on the left side. Is your case straight forward too? Good luck with your files. I am praying that everyone gets their visas quickly but NDVO seems to be having other plans right now.

If it showed that it was received already then they got it for sure. Dont worry too much about it. They will update you when they start working on your file. You have to wait for sometimes. All the best for your visa soon!

It didnt show that passport received by them. Thats where my concern starts. Thankshe for the informatin. I had this doubt coz while sending passport we forgot to include UCID on the envelope .but included original passport and letter received from nDVO.

I checked notes also it was in last page but it didnt say anything nothing at all.

I THINK UCID IS CONFIDENTIAL THING , ONE SHOULD NOT MENTION IT ON ENVELOPE, THE COPY OF LETTER RECIEVED ID ENOUGH, CAN ANYONE ELSE HAS SOME VIEWS TO SHARE ON THIS?

Yes mine is a straight forward case. a friend of mine similar case, his case and mine are exactly the same in terms of details, like we are from the same hometown in India, wife is also from same hometown, similar job similar salary, similar background for both wifes... everything is the same...

he applied in Jan 2013 and his wife got her passport back at end of June 2013. it took them exactly 5 months and 1 week from application.

i really hope we all hear something good real soon

I dont think you have to put client id on the envelope since you already sent pp with the passport request letter and it also showed your ucid on it. It should be okay and your tracking number showed that it was received already so it means NDVO received it for sure. Dont worry. You can ask your mp for an enquiry next month or try to email ndvo if they received your original pp. Jst dont worry abt it.

I dont think you need to include the UCID on the envelope. attaching the letter is required and thats enough i think. dont worry, i think they have not updated your GCMS notes yet.

Hope you do know that GCMS notes is cut few days before you receive it? Check the pdf and it should have the time it was cut on every page. May be this snapshot happened before your passport reached and sorted out.

I have been reading the posts once every week, but never have the guts to voice my questions
but here I go...
while I'm Canadian citizenship went to India with my family and got married.
I came back and applied for spouse sponsorship and waiting...
please someone help me! When these people will give me the good news?
here are some details to help:
married -Aug 2012
applied -Jan 21 2013
decision made -Feb 18 2013
Delhi received file - Mar 04 2013
Request for passport -Mar 16 2013
started processing case -Aug 2 2013

overall
medical, police report - received
sponsorship application status- decision made
PR application status- in process

someone help mee, when is the "in process" going to change?

Your friend is so lucky that he got it so soon. Mostly January applicants got it later than June because of the strike at that time. Hope you will get it soon like your friend.
