hey guys my hubby rcvd an email
Dear Mr. Q (my hubby)
The Office of the Prime Minister has kindly forwarded to the Mr. Chris Alexander, Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister, a copy of your recent correspondence concerning your sponsorship undertaking on behalf of the application for permanent residence of your wife, Ms sania ali. We apologize for the delayed response.
We appreciate your wish to have your wife join you in Canada as soon as possible. Please be assured that Citizenship and Immigration Canada reviews all applications objectively and consistently to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all applicants. We assess each application on its own merit against the program requirements.
We realize that those who have submitted their applications look forward to a decision being rendered within a reasonable waiting period after applying. We make every effort to deal with the applications we receive in the most efficient and effective way. However, the many steps involved in processing an application, coupled with the volume of applications, sometimes make it difficult to conclude cases in as timely a manner as we would like.
Our records confirm that your sponsorship undertaking was approved in February 2013 and that your wife’s application was transferred to the visa office in New Delhi for initial processing. Information on processing times for spousal applications is available at the following: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp. Your wife will be contacted should additional information or documentation be required.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to the Minster’s attention.
Sincerely,
L. Legari
