I applied for GCMS notes on Aug 16... I understand there is an additional delay because of the strike. But has anyone who applied for GCMS in the same time frame received theirs yet?

Re: the people who have interview calls... it may be for the better.. because my own bhabhi.. was called for an interview and handed her stamped passport back the same evening. So, it might be a good sign. However, bear in mind this was in 1998 .. dont know if it has changed massively since then.

now it is no longer same they still take around a month to hand over the passport back to the person...

Yes it has changed massively...it used to take max 3 months in those days for everything....Now they are doing more due diligence and also become some lazy and their kidz wants ipad , iphone, PSP ...etc and a bigger house with german car...n they need more money to fulfill their desires that's why they are on strike

Not sure about the 3 month one, we had a lot of marriages in our family between 1995 and 200 and all those cases were 8-10 months.
There may have been better periods during that time when processing was much quicker. I hope one of those comes now.

No..people who process your ATIP request are in Ottawa not in New Delhi...so don't worry...people apply them all the times.

At that time jk there were hardly any immigration frauds now a lot of frauds have made our lives hell bcoz of those we r suffering
