Hi..Does anyone know how CIC informs us of the Decision Made. Basically my ECAS changed to "Decision Made" when I checked on Monday. However, my passport is still with me and I am not sure if they will email me or call me asking for the passport.

I would appreciate, if any one could address my query, I have filed my application in canada under 2147 catogery on 21 August.Please let me know when I am suppose to get my immigration file number.

If any candidates applied for the same on or before August, and let me know the status of application with dates.

From what I have read, NDVO do accept it if u have legitimate reason for not submitting the passport... You should write them a letter and attach your passport request explaining why its not possible for you to submit the passport now.. So you will get your second passport request thru phone or email at the final stage of your application... Once again, this is something I read in this forum.. There is no official confirmation for this... If I were you, I would give CIC a call or email them before doin anything...

I tried email and call but both the time no reply from them. I lived in canada and canadian govt dont work like this inside canada the way they work outside canada. Its complete different and racist.

I'm a little concerned.... I have applied for the GCMS notes... I should receive it by next week, completing 30 days of requesting. whats bothering me is that... Is it cause of this, my VISA has been delayed... As i hear no news after the change in status to :" In Process" from Aug 20....
