Nope! UCI is Unique Client Identification. For a PR, you will find the 8 digit number xxxx-xxxx on the bck of your PR card.

For a new applicant, they are given a UCI number by their Visa offices during the 2nd stage of the process.

you can check the status by UCI. That is mention on the page of PPR

3 options:

1) Using Sponosors UCI...put in all sponsors details.

2) File Number...Use applicants details

3) Once the applicant gets their UCI from the visa office, this can be used with the combination of new UCI and primary applicants details


Problems may arise if the surname is entered differently by us and the Visa office.
