There was a post about wisdom tooth - I don't know what connection Canadian weather has or is it harsh coincidence but whatever dental issue we've had , its been in Canada. I've seen over 4K for my folks already, all the extractions, dentures happened here whereas everything seems fine in India
Coming back to my own experience, back in 2005 where I was told to extract my wisdom tooth after experiencing pain in that area. As you all know dental is not covered and I didn't have any insurance from my company so I went to the mall and got an appt with a Pakistani dentist, now these guys don't just handle 1 cleint at a time, the dentist takes care of 2 patients at the same time
Now this is a desi teeth, damn thing is stuck to the bone - he injects me with dental anaesthesia like 8-9 times, his feet is almost on my chest, damn thing wouldn't come out and eventually broke into half
He offers me 2 things
1) Let bone grow over it
2) Refund and go to Specialist and its close to the nerve so he cannot remove it
Other dentist said the same, dont even think about growing a bone over it, and remove it
So eventually got a Indian Specialist in a hospital, who took the remaining piece out, cost me $600
Imagine, ever heard or seen a dentist says, I can refund
So please do all dental work in India and come here
