Gauti, the piece of information that you got might be true. My wife got an email from NDVO and it asks for the address where they can send the passport - VFS in Nepal, or any other address in India (i hope with visa, they do not say anything about it). This means they might have started working. Earlier, this month, She got a response from the NDVO mentioning they got her passport as a reply of an email sent to them around 5 months before. For me, there is no update in ECAS since the last 4 months.

in which email id did your wife send the email??they never replied mine one..

We are March applicant, our turn will come only after they are done with jan and feb applicants..

Thanks Samzana.I just saw someone from march got her e-cas changed to "in progress"...so i think it really differs from case to case..but ya...most probably Jan n Feb get the priority...which is good!

hoping for some great news within next few days! There is definitely a lot of movement now...!

its still application recd medical recd hoping to see changes in sept.....let them get done with jan feb applicants 1st they deserve it more !!! don't worry by sept we will get our VISA's

[ my husband asked for the same paying 5$ in canada but that was thro mail, he says there is no way we can get in touch thro email...
since last one month i m waiting to hear...on feb 5th file transferred and sponsorship approved was the last letter or any sort of communication. he wrote to canada m.p who in turn showed interest and later started getting angry...wrtoe to ndvo but std acknowledment of mail..then silent mode]

just wait by this week u shld get your notes and will know if u missed the ppr in march.......don't loose hope ...u surely get good news...(btw your hubby shld have slapped the mp its your rt to know your status ...)
