Yes Saniali... i got DM last week.... now waiting for Passports... i am just finding out how and when they will deliver PP as i am staying Oversea.

CIC has some additional tips for you to follow so that your application is not delayed:

Make sure all the necessary information is included with your application.
Tell the visa office about any changes to the information on your application.
Do not make unnecessary inquiries to the visa office.
Make sure the photocopies and documents you provide are clear and readable.
Provide certified English or French translations of documents, where indicated by CIC.
Apply from a country where you are a citizen or permanent resident.
Your application will be delayed if the visa office has to take extra steps to assess your case.

Your application will take longer if:
there are criminal or security problems with your application;
your family situation is not clear because of a situation such as a divorce or adoption that is not yet complete or child custody issues that have not been resolved; or
the local visa office has to consult with other CIC offices in Canada or abroad.

How can we be with out doing inquires even after 5 months of sending passports... I am worried... I never thought it will take so long... mine is a simple straight forward case... not sure what is delaying them this much.... getting pissed off now...

thats great news... congrats and good luck for your future... I think due to this stupid visa processing, you and your spouse had enough of separation from each other and now for rest of your life never be away from each other....

You thinking about applying for GCMS notes or M.P enquiry.. It sucks to know people who have applied after us getting visas before us (again no hard feelings). Really don't understand how they work. It's almost 9 freaking Months for me waiting for the visa :-[
