Hi everyone,

Good news! We received passport with visa by mail today. It is the best present of Eid for us from NDVO. FYI, there is no update in e-cas. Recently I requested my MP by email to check the status of our application. I am not sure whether it has played any role but I advise you to contact your MP office if nothing is happening. In our case the medical is expiring soon on Sep 8.

I wish everyone to get the passport with visa without any unnecessary delay and good luck for those who are waiting to be reunited with their spouse.

Hello frnds i submit my file in march and it comes to delhi office in april and they ask for my pp in last week of april now i m waiting for when my passport come back with visa.... Lol Its really frustrating to wait such a long time There is no update on status of cic site they only shows from many months medical recieved

I wud say...just send them the photocopies again.....because they..in instruction guide has written...just submit photocopies unless u r asked for attested copies.....do not send originals unless asked for.....

I agree. I have a similar case, and you need to send only photocopies. Do you have a lawyer? If you do they should do all this for you. If you give me more info. about your case I can help. Who is divorced: you as the sponsor or your spouse in india?

I checked my e-cas today morning. It shows decision made.
Now, my concern is that the mailing address shows my address in India. Earlier it was showing my mailing address in Canada n then I sent them mail to change mailing address to India's mailing address.
But I thought they change ur address to Canada when it shows 'Decision Made'????

In my GCMS, the status updated date for criminality and security is Feb 2013 (when my application was reached) and the due date for both is 18 March 2013. I think there is no reason to freak out looking at this (it might be something related to admin work they do and project allocation, just a guess though). The clear indication available from this is that the Status for mine is 'Not Started'.

In my opinion, the gist can be got from the 'assessments' in the second page of GCMS (though the following pages & notes at the end shows more details).
In my case, the assessments shows:
Eligibility: In Progress
Security: Not started
Criminality: Not started
Medical: In Progress

What I infer from this is, my application is still stuck in the process for eligibility and medicals.
After that's passed, they might start Security & Criminality.
Correct me if any of you have any other thoughts!

Also, when you submit a request for GCMS on Jun 15 2013 (for example), you will the report having the activities only till that date.
Say if there is any PPR or any other further form request made on Jun 20, 2013, it will not be available in that GCMS request.

I have one Query It would be great if any one will reply regarding this.
I'm also waiting for Spouse visa as my Wife is in Canada but I want to know that I have Refusal twice from canada
1) Work Permit
2)Visitor Visa but nothing Fake Documents Applied due to very Urgency
Does these refusals will effect my Visa???

Just a question, do you have a lawyer or immigration firm that helped you with papers or were they done on your own?
Don't lose hope, but on the application they do ask whether you have ever been refused entry to canada? This effects your case or not is really up to them. I guess it's just a matter of being a bit delayed in the process, as cic will look into it. Who knows, if they see everything perfect and they see the marriage as genuine, they may just issue a visa. So just hang in there, and be positive. Good luck !
