yup same question for me too...ppl are getting remedical requests, additional document request...but no Visa...may be because their visa stamping/issuing section is busy with Student applications?
hope so...Right now CHC ND is super fast in giving student visas..just checked People who applied on 3rd week of july got Visa today...amazing...

PAFSO - APASE Normally, service withdrawals would end When arbitration begins. However, we will need to base our decision on the precise circumstances in place at the time. We cannot discuss details of our strategy on a public web site.

Kasturi Phadke Once the services are restored, is there a plan on how applications will be processed? There will be a considerable backlog. Some people have been in limbo for months (like me) so will we get processed to completion before other applications are picked up? Will Family Class be given priority? Or will Tourists and Students jump the queue?

I have also gone through those forums people are getting visas very fast .hopefulls after 15 August we will see lots of prv being issued.

yess looking at this speed...I dont think that strike is affecting visa applications..and that might be a reason why Tony Clement is so adamant in going in arbitration or likewise...

If you go through 2012 forum in July their were mony many prv but come mig August their were lots of visa issued.that was because of student applications I guess.

They are already issuing lots of student visas because from 1 September fall semester will start ans students have to be there before that.

yes I have been shouting on this forum to please check 2012 SS...most of Jan-FEb applicants started to get Visas only after August...so I am very very positive...fingers crossed...

Yes I am veryy positve reason being after student visa family applications are on priority,,,
other thing is we can see few updates on the family applications so I am pretty sure they are working...
