Just google 'my local MP' and you will parl.gc.ca website....punch in your zip code and u will get it. they are useless by the way

Yes, I visited my spouse this year after our wedding in Jul 2013. And so after reading about ppl sending proofs of continued relation ( even without demanding ) I am also thinking to do that practice in advance as they say that it will strengthen yur file . Waiting2exhale, would yu like to throw some light on this ?

Did u not send all this with original app package? If you made further visits to your spouse, then maybe it makes sense. Even I am in same boat, I am thinking should i send proactively 'continued contact with spouse' to NDVO but am wary of unsettling the balance. You see monkeys have a habit of dropping the fruit they have in hand when u hand them a new fruit.......

I have updated my details in the spreadsheet just now.
No updates in particular, I think they have started looking at my file since I got an email saying they did not receive my medicals. Had the hospital resent it two days later. Ecas shows only 'Application Received'. I still have my passport as I do not live in India. My application was received on 22nd Oct 2013.

don't worry your status changed in a few days. .you hv done ur remedical in China maybe they are fast and send ur reports in 2 days but Indian hospitals doesn't very fast ..
by the way what abt x-ray..?

Hi....even we had somewat dis kind of problem...my husband hired a lawyer in canada...he gave all the explanations to cic nd now dey have scheduled my interview on 28 july...i advise u to take help of a canada based immigration lawyer...

Dont you think let me wait till they coma back, before reaching out to any Lawyer.
Since they have asked for ADR for my entry exit details. I think they have opened the file and working on it, they have not asked for any further explanation, how can lawyer help here.
Lawyer word makes me worry, on extended time and money

All done and dusted buddy, ready to fly in Canada, approximate 3-4 weeks. Can anyone suggest airlines via Europe ? Any experience ....

I didn't do re medicals yet, I just asked the hospital, where I did it the first time to send it again; which was in India. I'm going to wait for them to ask for re medicals first; I don't think they will, they might just give me a month or twos' extension, who knows?
The best would be if I can change the visa office from New Delhi to Beijing, China. They are super fast here although there are more applications from China and Hong Kong, than from India.

Hi Buddy, your "in process" status has reached to 3rd week... Why they are taking so much time? Is it becoz of remed?

Moreover, my situation is a little different, I would rather not get my visa too soon.
A couple of things; 1. I may get a request to send my passport for stamping visa in Aug/Sep. Too close to my Sep 15th due date - can't fly back to India then. 2. They might ask me to fly within a certain number of days or weeks - again flying before a new born is 3 months is not advised. 3. It will be two long flights for my infant in 30 days; from China to India (9 hours + lay overs). From India to Ottawa (15+ I'm thinking?).

All in all, I'm just hoping they don't issue my visa too soon and then when I tell them I can't fly now but only in three months; they don't ask me to go through the whole process again.

By the way, although it has nothing to do with my case; I see that several applicants have been rejected and that they can 'appeal'. Will appealing help? What are the chances of an appeal being heard and decision retracted?
