Hi Guys,

In the form IMM0008-where National identity document is asked i wrote Aadhaar card and left the expiry date blank as it doesn't has one.

Do you think they can reject my application because of this?

I have a doubt here. for 30 days of processing time for Step 1. is the 30 days from the time they receive or from the time they send out AOR?

Hope you get yours soon! And you know what they didn't mis-spell my husbands name but they put his first name as his surname. We made sure to write is carefully, and I have no idea how they have managed to confuse this.

I think its from the time they received the file....

I called the call center agent for my info not appearing in E-cas and I m sure she said the date is from the time they send AOR that the processing starts.
I asked her to clarify once again and she said from the date you got AOR.

But most people on this forum are getting sponsor approval after 15-20 days of AOR...

The issue here is I've sent my application and they must have received it today , stating Aadhaar as my National identity document and wrote the unique identity number in Generic form-IMM0008

I am worried if they'll reject my application based on this.

I was thinking of sending the generic form with correction and ask them to consider the new form. Is there a way to do that.

Please help!

I received it by email, and it was PDF attachment. It said I met the requirements of a sponsor and that the file has now been transferred to the New Delhi VO.

Yes that is weird I am upset after hearing that from her.

I have seen many applicants receiving SA within 10-20 days from AOR including myself.
It should be noted that for some applicants it's taking little more than that.
I would say don't worry about what the agent had said and stay with hope. Good luck!

Dont worry about it. Aadhar is a scheme that is meant to be a national identity document. So there is nothing wrong in mentioning it. So you dont have to send in a corrected form. All the best!
