I also submitted my passport on june 2013 so waiting for next step. Stay in touch who has applied in may or june
even my cousin who applied before me is also waiting .....dont think anyone has got visa stamped from 2013

2 ppl from 2012 got a call that their visas are issued pls come and collect the passports......so work is happening and its slow but they are trying to clear 2012 which is fair ....soon good news coming our way...

my papers were submitted on may 6 and passport was requested on june 14...dont know why u dint get it ...seems every case is different

This is complete misinformation Gauti. Of course the NDVO is processing Canadian visas, they are simply clearing 2012 applicants as fast as possible because their medical is expiring. DO NOT spread false information unless you can reliably confirm this is true. "Someone" is not a source! There are a LOT of couples dependent on reliable information as everything has been on hold for a while, and any movement affects all of us.

So unless you can point to an official page/website maintained by the government of Canada or it's offices overseas, it is NOT true.

THIS! Thank you!!! Someone from 2012 forum just got a call about their Visa- so yes they are working, just slower than normal!

Why are they just not couriering the stamped passports? Why are they calling people?
I know there's strike occurring but it's very simple to call a batch pickup for courier, it's 1 simple call.

There are many who's passport already requested but they are not getting response and there many who's Passport request message not come from NDVO. Not getting how they r working????

some get it early within a month and some get it in the later half...nothing to do with our application...its just luck...most of us have simple normal cases...in 2012 many got ppr after 3-4 months...so all depends ....infact its good..i can travel out of the country at least...
