Guys,

I had an interview today. The Sikh guy who took my interview. He was not happy with certain things so he said that; I am going to refuse your visa today. Then, he said: he will take his decision in the next couple of days. If I can show some documents which support my application then he might change his decision.

Then I submitted all documents proof included 2 international trips plus, lots of domestic trips in India. My spouse is living with me in India since last 1 year.

Visa officer comments : how can we live together without marriage in India?

My comment: That's strange, People in India live together without marriage as well.

We both used to live together in India and Canada prior to getting married.

Visa officer comments; he feels we have entered on bad faith.. we are together from last 3 years which seems Bad faith to him.

My comments: At last, I told him... Do whatever you feel to do...If you want to reject then Reject " I am happy to live with my spouse in India".

Hello dear I feel very bad to hear about your bad interview experience. But during my interview she asked me several case specific questions for 1.5hrs almost but very professionally & same way tried to make me nervous with diplomatic questions but I answered very clearly/confidently to convince her about my case.

Furthermore this is the general practice which they apply to know/hear truth about various complicated/unique cases, for instance on the day of my interview there were few more applicants got interviewed by same lady to whom she asked so many questions just within 15mints. & they got confused & nervous allot during their interview & were feeling very bad after their interview but ultimately they got Re-Med letter & relaxed now.

So dear I request you, please don't take tension & wait for your favorable/+ve response from NDVO. I too pray for your best infact we all pray for your good luck.

I know somebody who went through same visa officer and exactly same comments . My friend almost went to depression after that. Then he was asked next day to pick up passport . He went there broken heart almost ready to kill the guy but he came back with shiny visa and a smile size of himalaya mountain . So don't worry that's their standard procedure and you did just fine .

yep it will be interesting to know if the routine addiction to ecas is worth it or not?

as I see, this forum is beginning to affect you too..first you started with 1 post now in one day you are hitting 14 posts (as they say in the advertisement, this car can go from zero to 80 in one second)..next addiction will be checking ecas every hour on the hour till your family cannot take it anymore..then they will admit you to addiction removal clinic where you will see a ND visa officer as a patient and.......to be continued....

if everything is done except for issuing your visa then they will extend your medicals expiration date but if it is going to take couple of months to complete all the formalities then it will be remedicals..it is million dollar question, so what stage am I now? ask your MP or order notes...you did your medicals before sending in your application?

really dont know what is d problem with interviewrs..
on mine interview my hubby and mine questions were 100%matched
but then he said how he believe dat he had talked to my my hubby on phone ,,,wat is d proff dat sponser was on phone call not anyone else

Okay, I guess I need to scale back a bit but hey it sure does feel good to interact with fellow members and if possible provide some positivity and gain some valuable insights and information.
BTW, I went nuts on the forum just after your gave me a tip off on how the profile could be modified with the timeline..
Its all good when everything is balanced with some sanity but I could become insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity and I'll be like hell ya..bring it on NDVO!!

Oh we had a ADR (additional doc request) on 9th May, currently waiting on the status to be updated.
We have also requested for GCMS notes that should give us more insights into the current status of the application by this weekend.

Hello everybody seems like a lot staff change at the end of the year so u guys will be on this little changes that I did notice, I hope there is somebody from Mexico , I have a question everybody who already been thought this process from Mexico say that they send 2 police certificates one from the city that they live referring to
The province and another one that the Canadian embassy in Mexico City did process for them with the PGR tha Canadian embassy send it directly to the case provessing center in canada that was processing their application, seems like there was an update on that part on dec 2013 and the instruction only says about the one that the Canadian embassy process for u and it takes 60 to 90 bussines days x_x , so I call them and tell them if was only that one , at the call center and they say yes bit the letter that CIC send to me it says like this....
Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six
months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate This must be received at this office by: 2014/08/26
