OOOOOOOMMMMMMGGGGGG!!!!!!! I couldn't believe this, got DM today and the post man arrives with the Shiny VISA....... Its been a long long journey for us>>> ADR in November, then Medical Expired>>>MP enquiry several times>>got Remedical in MAY and no intimation till date and today Double Bonanza .

congratulations..i am scratching my head in confusion...bunch of may 2013 applicants have been waiting for visas for more a month (one almost 2.5 months) who went for interviews (not sure if all of us or not) and did remedicals ....you got it in one month after remedicals and did not have an interview (not sure what some of may 2013 applicants who are waiting for visas have in common..in my case passport was sent after a year...)

Hi guys,

I had my interview on 21st may and I was told that my visa is approved. However since my medicals had expired I got a mail on 23rd may to do a chest xray within 7 days to extend my medicals. I did my medicals on 28th may. Anyone has any idea how long it will take for me to get back my passport now? I live in Bangalore.

Now you are in the final stage. In every stage when the file is processed they put it under Process. The time taken by medical scrutiny department and their clearance will lead you to the file moving to DM and then the ViSALORDS affixing the visa and signature pushes to the despatch section from where the postman from Indian postal service through registered Post delivers to you. Now play the final phase of waiting game knowing well passport on the way.

Kumar Thank you very much. I really dont understand NDVO. I was discussing the same with my wife this morning that there are applicants still waiting for 2 months after interview, remedicals and see what happened during the Day. NDVO IS UNPREDICTABLE.

is this a request for remedicals? you can ignore their request if it is not remedicals but to be on safe side, just write a cover letter with particulars like file number, name; date of birth of the sponsored person and enclose a photocopy of emedical receipt (the one with sponsored person's photo on it) and send it to them....
