Sponsorship approved: Jan 21st 2013
Passport requested: Mar 2nd
Passport sent: April 11th
Decision made: July 7th


SO this proves that visa's are being issues but just slow ....

Nice to hear that.. makes us all-the-more hopeful. and this person got DM on july 7th Sunday. wow.. as many others on this forum have said, July 14th Sunday could potentially be a good day for many.. lets hope for the best!

Guys can I please request to have the ACTUAL NUMBER that we are getting call from the NDVO office.

I want to give it to my wife in case it come's something similar to it. I am afraid the call's that we get in regular basic are almost identical to calls from CALL CENTER and some of them are not nice.


Please can anybody give me the actual number.

After the PP request , when they give the PP back to you with the spousal PR visa.

Is the spousal PR visa stamped or stickered inside the PP or something.

Do they also give you a landing paper or something with it ?

When I came to Canada on my own a few years back as a Landed immigrant , nothing was put inside my Indian PP.

I got the landing paper ( Record of landing ) and my Indian PP..which I used to land as an immigrant.

Is it the same for sponsored spousal PR visa ? They give your spouse the PP back and the landing paper , or do they actually stamp or sticker the spousal PR visa inside the PP ?

PR i.e Permanent Resident.

Hi there, guys when I check my Spouses Application Status online, under my wife name it says Application received. On June 11/2013 they sent her an email requesting about Application payment Reciept, Pcc and Passport.

On email it states " please note that request for your passport at this time is not guarantee of visa issuance. Passports are requested so that we can hold them on your file and issue your visas asap after all requirements are met." I'm just Curious if any one recieved Similar email and how long it took for the visa.

This email was sent out on June 11/2013, so I think Srike does not effect Permanant Residence Visa.
