Received passport with a visa

But the sad thing is im leaving today and my wife will be traveling after 2 weeks. I didn't get extension for my vacation... but still we got the visa !!!!!

This wait is so painful
Why is the visa office doing this? I have a friend who sponsored his wife in 2008 and she got the visa in 3-4 months. Are they so concerned about holding their jobs that they've selfishly decided to delay all visas now?

ya now in d end of our journey dis wait seems to b very painful....
Even my frnd is last year march applicant.nd he got his visa within 6 months. ..

Hi,

My husband had sponsored for my PR. I sent my passport to Delhi on Jan 24,2014 and haven't received any updates since then. Could you pl let me know when I can expecct to get my passport back.

I need my passport back as I have to travel to US as a part of my work.

Is there a place where the details of my passport / status can be verified. Any details/pointers would be helpful

Now the spousal cases filed in Aug are getting their Visa. One of Sep also got. What is your timeline. Application date: Sponsorship approved: File Transferred: PP request: Medicals etc.
Passport can be requested from NDVO by sending a mail giving the valid reason.
In the letter they sent you from NDVO they would have given the details of having created the file number. Quote the file number as reference. You can check the status of your application through the website. www.cic.gc.ca

sponsorship approval


1.We received your application to sponsor spousenon June 19, 2013.

2.We sent you a letter on July 17, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

spouse status

We received spouse application for permanent residence on June 19, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

then one email from NDVO on sep 10 ,2013 saying they received my application.



MP enquiry said everything is going smoothly and they need nothing from me. thats it..

i m confused , which month applicant i am and my medical have expired on apr 24, 2014.

pls pls help me and guide me what's happening with visas and online status

Yeah this wait is killing. My cousin was mar 2013 applicant and her hubby arrived canada in mid of sep
