Few days ago I mailed Delhi immigration office

This is what they replied :


Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

We acknowledge that our office has received your original passport(s) for this application.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process passports and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team for a review to take place to ensure all requirements have been met for the application to move to the next steps in processing.

This file is currently pending review by the responsible processing team and a decision by the officer. As soon as that review has taken place, our office will contact the applicants if any further documentation or information is required.

Please note that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized and the passports returned. Your continued patience is appreciated. Rest assured that we give the highest processing priority to cases which are ready for visa issuance for which passports have been submitted. Until we contact the applicant or authorized representative, either to request additional documents or information or to return the passports, we will not be able to respond to further enquiries.

Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application. Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application.

Hmmm, well they take a long time in updating E-Cas. Just be patient they will eventually work on your application. Apply for GCM notes to see what is going on with your file.

Yes, this is the same email that they send to everybody (Auto Reply). If your process is under the given time then they will not reply to you just these stupid email.

on which email id did you send the email and did u consider ur UCI or file no.?

I know. I prepared my self that NDVO is not going to give me any updates till June.....my hubby thinks he will get the visa by April and it will be a April fool joke...haha

Dont worry santhos...they can extend medical validity for 3months.....good luck to you

who said or where did u read abt 3 months extension of medicals to what I know max 4 weeks is what they can extend or what they generally extend ? thx

there is no harm at all but its just too early for u too apply right now.......nothing wld be started on your application !! plus u got the ppr too so I think u can wait a little more before applying good luck

Medical Done: July. 20th 2013
Application received by CIC Canada: June 20th 2013
Sponsorship Application Approval from Canada: Aug. 26th 2013
PPR Requested: Sep. 12th 2013


Till now there is no update on my E-cas

Can someone help me by telling what can cause the delay in my application process?

I m seeing many June applicants receiving medicals but seems no luck as for me

your sa and ppr both were late.....that's why u haven't heard anything as yet......don't worry they already reached 3rd week june applicants u shld be hearing soon.........some get visa's early some get late its all part of their unpredictable process....all u can is be patient in this waiting game....and the email u got was very generic I too did get it...its basically the reply to your email...good luck with your process speedy visa to u
