Hi Guys,

I cant explain how happy I am at the moment. OMG, my wife got her visa on Feb 11. It is a dramatic story.

Some of you guys might remember my last post telling that I am leaving for India from Montreal on Feb 7 evening. Around that time, it has been already two days and I did not check ecas as I was scared to see the same status. Anyway, I landed in India early morning Feb 9 and is with my wife ever since.

Remember, Feb 14 is our anniversary and I so wanted to be with my wife no matter what. So today, my wife and I left vizag to my mother's place which is 2 hours away. I decided not check ecas for at least another 5 days.

Guess what, as we were reaching my city, my mother-in-law calls us to tell she got our visa packet. We missed her call multiple times and she called the whole world that my wife got her visa. We were the last ones to know that we got visa, lol.

We will only get our hands on the passport tomorrow, cant really wait.

So I check the status now and the following is there:

We are very happy however my wife may not come with me this time as my last brother may get married in March and then we both will come. The validity is until March 30, 2014. (Medicals done April 1, 2013), so they gave us exactly one year validity, not even 2 weeks.

We could have fallen into depression if it is not for this forum and the great members it has. Thank you for keeping the positivity and rest assured my prayers will be there for everyone to get their visas soon.

Aww im so happyy for you because you both can celebrate on your anniversary and Valentines day. Thats so nice of NDVO to give you a visa haha. It looks like your big surprise gift from NDVO. They seem to go closer to the medical date and then give us a surprise..... I hope none of us has to go for re- medicals and get our visa very soon.

And here it is... finally my PP with visa and landing docs are in my hands today.... A biiiiiig relief...Pheww....
Just made it in time...

12th flying to toronto from boston.
13th is our first wedding anniv..
14th is my Bday...

All lined up

Hi Guys...i got email from MP...

I spoke with Citizenship and Immigration Canada and they advised the file is moving along and everything is up to date. CIC received the requested documents and are continuing to process the application.



It's still in the early stages of processing therefore CIC advised I check on the file again in three months. I have put a reminder in my calendar.



Should you have any other questions, or you hear from CIC, please do not hesitate to contact me.

What NDVO doing....after 9 months...still early stage of processing?

It seems its good news that they started processing on your file. When does your medical expire? i know 9 months are not too early but the processing time is 12 months so stupid them. dont worry you may get the visa before 12 months.

Am sorry all the dates i have are as follows : Appl Rcvd: 13th June,2013
Meds were done in Feb,13 in dont know the exact date
Passport was submitted in Sept,13 Recvd on 31st Sept,13

We have hired someone to do all the work since it was takin so long i decided to keep a check on the same all the dates n details are not available to me. Is that enough?? I can find out the exact dates.

No problem. Dont worry about the exact dates here. it looks like your medicals is going to expire soon. I hope NDVO will give you an extension for weeks so you can fly to Canada soon. make sure to keep the phone with you always so they might call you like raman kaur. They are so useless. When did you do an MP inquiry last time? Your medicals expire on 23rd march so you may get good news this month before your medicals expire. Dont worry! Wish you a speedy visa!

Guys guys........I m soooo happy. ...I had no hope.....but.....God made it for me.....its completely a miracle. ....seriously its nuthing else....I got a call frn ndvo... some indin lady she said the words I wanted to hear can u fly before 21st...yipeeeee....I hv to collect it from ndvo....balle balle....all the prayers made it.....satnam waheguru...

i got phone call on 16 January from NDVO .they asked me some questions like ...birth dates .....

Congrats!!! Finally!! Now hopefully they will give you a quick DM and return your passport with shiny visa.
