looks like im seeing alot of good news recently. congrats to all those getting to b with their loved ones. just curious but did the processing time increase recently? I thought for sure it used to b 9mo now its 12? maybe I just remembered wrong?

Myrah got a call again last week to confirm the address and then her ecas said dm last sunday. Next day(monday) she received her pp back with the visa. It took almost one week for her.

No your not wrong. its 12 month processing time now and yes it has changed few months ago. Its all because of stupid strike that happened last year.

It used to be 9, then 11 and finally 12 months ....thanks to the 6 month strike in 2013 that has messed up the entire processing and increased the backlog of the already slow and pathetic and non-existent system of NDVO.

So expecting to get your visa in 8-12 months...if you are lucky is a pretty accurate approach right now!

it took one day but whn I got the call on 15th jan he said they dispatching my pp on 16th .......I got dm on 19th jan and pp with visa on 20th after dispatch it take 2-7 days mostly it all depends when they dispatch the pp

hey primo im ryt here.. i was off for a mnth hubby was here nw mss him so much n back to work loads of patients.. n still waiting meds expired n mp said it will take minimum 4 mnths to review ma file... gcms says nothing jus few updates on our reltionship added ma number n home add... wht abt u???

this is annoying..why is it taking this long? and if notes does not indicate anything about interview, do you have one or do you have to wait until they review your file and let you know? just annoying and frustrating....almost one year and still have to wait

its 12 now and sadly for some it has been 15 months and counting

Thank you all for your good wishes for our interview! It works well... We have our case approved!!! It was a really tough interview for my husband... Almost 1 hours 30 min of questions and the visa officer was giving him a face like she was not trusting him... Saying that she thinks he married me just to come to Canada. He worked hard in his answer to convince her that it was not the case and at the end she called me in the office and told me the same and asked me what i am thinking about it. Then explain to her our feelings and our view of our relationship . She asked me if I was ready to live in India. I said anytime as I already have my PIO and showed it to her. So my part was only 5 min and then
she said she is convinced and our relationship is genuine.!!!

So again I repeat: who ever doubt that it really helps that sponsor is going to the interview with applicant... Trust me it makes the entire difference! Without my 5 min she would have still doubt and even rejected our case! But being together made our case stronger!

Thanks to that wonderful forum who made us being perfectly prepare to face our interview!!!
