How can i obtain PCC from singapore without the official request from CIC office? only after i apply and when the request for PCC comes, i can get it.

Thanks for this.. yea, i was also thinking its better to cancel my singapore residency and go back in india and live with relatives. PCC is police clearance right? But how did you obtain PCC from Dubai without getting a request from CIC? Applying for PCC comes much later in the application stage right?

You have to provide PCC from a country where you have stayed more than six months, this is only if u choose NDVO as your visa office.

I had given along with the application; yes u can provide pcc when thy ask, but it might delay the process.

hey magesss need not to go for re-medical. If medical will be the only requirement to approve your visa NDVO will approve your visa before medical will get expire. In my case my medical was expiring on 31st jul 2013 and i got a call from ND that they are about to finalize my case but they are afraid if i can land in Canada before my medical expiration date which i assure them that i will be there before 31st and after 2 days my ecas changed to DM

Usually, when you ask for police clearance, the officials will ask for a reason and you can say its for applying PR to canada; thts how i got from dubai...u dunt hv to provide any proof from CIC to get PCC.

The only problem is pcc should be submitted within 3 months from its date of issue.

Also find any procedure about how to apply for pcc outside singapore, u may require it incase your file is delayed while applying.

Usually, after applying, within a month you will get sponsor approval, then ur file will be transferred to ur chosen visa office, and with 2 months you maybe asked to submit ur passport, also pcc if not submitted before.

So i guess you can apply for pcc after you application is filed, but how long does it take to get pcc from singapore ?

Some days i feel scared to death thinking what if they mess up our case....when i read posts and stuff here about how people organized their files and all....nd how many prooofs they sent....how many proofs did you guys send ? all chats ? phone calls? etc....? I should also never read the thread about appeal cases....it messes up with my head...How do you guys keep so calm ?

The problem is in singapore, they are asking for documentation proof to show why we need a PCC. And they will give it in 10 days. I think if i apply it too early, it may lose the validity. I can apply for it when i am living in india also. Medical results also valid for 3 months only?

This week has almost passed by without any DM

It been more than 100 days since PP is submitted. Wonder why they keep our PP so long.

If a person wants to travel in case of an emergency, then what is he suppose to do ???

Yea, I agree same thing with my wife. They requested the PP about 4 months now and still nothing from them. Now she is stuck and cannot go anywhere. This is so frustrated at least there should be some update on the E-cas but no nothing yet.


Well we cannot do anything rather than wait and prey that it goes faster.

My Wifes address was wrong ..so when they requsted the passport we changed the address....
Instead of Plot no they wrote P.o Number....
I am thinking of sending them a request... to change the p.o to plot number...

Would you guys prefer sending them an email or fax..or whats the best way to go about it...

Hey Magessss our timelines are almost similar. Pls check with your date for file transfer on left hand side. I guess it should be Feb.
